The main objective of the project is to reduce by at least 10 % the incidence of invasive and non-invasive pneumococcal disease in patients from Świętokrzyskie voivodship with the most common solid and haematological tumours by 31 December 2021 through information and education activities of 7,200 people (3940 K and 3260 M) and vaccination with 5 400 subjects (2955 K and 2445 M). The project assumes the implementation of the Regional Health Programme – Prevention of severe pneumonia in cancer patients with the most common solid and haematological cancers and includes educational activities – information and education campaign, research with qualification for vaccinations, execution of vaccinations. The own contribution of PLN 150 000 will be paid in the form of a doctor’s salary of PLN 34 000 and as part of indirect costs PLN 116 000. The project was implemented from 1 May 2019 to 31 December 2021 in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Funding from the ESF 1 275 000 PLN.
