The project involves the construction of a fully functional road connecting the municipality of Barczewo with the TEN-T network via DK 16. This road will have a length of 3,1 km in total with the width of the sections: 6 m – long. 1.827 m and 5 m long. It’s 1 feet. In addition, the railway viaduct with the length of 28.08 m, the width of the total structure of 13 m will be rebuilt. This infrastructure, which communicates the Municipality with the overarching road network, will significantly improve the external transport accessibility of the Municipality and its internal coherence. It is intended to handle the traffic of MOF Olsztyn, which will occur after the Olsztyn ring road has been delivered. The road will be handled by personal transport (85 % of passengers), collective transport (15 % of passengers) and commercial transport. The average daily traffic intensity of light vehicles was adopted at the level of 32 volumes/h and heavy vehicles 5 capacity/h. Stages of project implementation: —application for DOF. —signing of the DOF agreement. —selection of the contractor in accordance with the PZP -conclusion of the contract with the contractor and commencement of works -implementation of works according to the established schedule – completion of the project and signing of the final protocol -final settlement of the project The project fits into the assumptions set out in SzOOP RPO WWM 2014-2020 fulfilling the stated objective: Improving the availability and internal transport coherence of the Municipal Functional Area Olsztyn. The subject of the project is the construction of a local road in the Barczewo Municipality in the urban functional area of Olsztyn (Mobile MOF) and results from the MOF Strategy including the Strategy of Integrated Territorial Investments.
