The object of the project is construction works consisting of changing the use of the boiler room building in the town of Niedźwiadź to a public service building – a rural common room, which is a centre of local activity. Today, the building is a former boiler room with a corresponding coal chute. As part of the project, the above-mentioned building is to create a rural common room consisting of a common room, two exercise rooms, three toilets, an economic area, and communication lines. The project assumes the execution of, among others: new flooring, reconstruction of roof parts, construction of damp insulation, anti-water insulation, insulation of the walls of the building with styrofoam and roof, replacement and complementing of window and door joinery, fence of the property part (including implementation of entrances), protection of part of the area with concrete cube, furnishing of the building with internal plumbing, heating (electric heating) and electrical. The building also provides for a computerised telephone installation, which will serve the inhabitants to create a website promoting their locality and region and information. The project involves adapting the building in terms of accessibility for people with disabilities. The first equipment of the modernised building will be purchased, necessary for the operation of the common room.
