The subject of the project is the reconstruction of the “A” building of the ZSME workshop in Olsztyn near al. Piłsudski with its surroundings and equipping it with modern equipment and scientific aids. Thanks to the implementation of the project, a modern infrastructure base for practical apprenticeships will be created, where it will be possible to install the latest equipment used in the industry. As a result of the work inside and outside the building (site) will improve the functionality of the facility, which will improve the quality of education, increase the safety and quality of work, and thus increase the number of students acquiring professional skills in modern school workshops. strengthening the structure of the building, replacing the roof covering, insulation and warming of balance sheet boundaries, rebuilding the interior of the building in accordance with the needs of teaching process, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the social, residential and administrative facilities, replacement of window and door carpentry and all utility installations, modernisation of internal and external lighting, installation of equipment for monitoring the consumption of media, fuels and energy, installation of facility control devices, other solutions contributing to the improvement of functionality and energy efficiency of the facility. Accessibility of the database for people with disabilities will be improved. Improving the conditions of vocational training will allow for closer cooperation between schools and employers, as it will allow graduates with the highest qualifications to be able to work without additional training provided by employers. Such educated staff is now desirable in the labour market. The project thus fits in with the assumptions of SZOOP RPOWiM 2014-2020, priority axis 9 Access to high quality public services, action: 9.3 Educational infrastructure, sub-measure:9.3.1 Vocational training infrastructure. Thanks to the project, the conditions of education will be adapted to the diagnosed needs of the labour market.
