The aim of the project is to strengthen employment opportunities in the labour market of a group of 215 inhabitants of the Olsztyn subregion, who are unable to take up work for children under the age of 3 (they are currently unemployed or on maternity/educational leave). The project reimburses the costs of childcare for all participants, both in nurseries or children’s clubs and nannies, for up to 12 months. In this way, ensuring that parents are freed from their obligation to take care of their offspring will enable them to unleash their potential and to return to work or to take action to find them. In addition, the unemployed or inactive persons will be covered by activation support (from professional guidance, through courses, to job placements), which will facilitate their entry into the labour market. Recruitment of participants will take place on a continuous basis, starting from August 2016, with final recruitment planned for the third quarter of 2017. It is assumed that at least 117 people will return to work after participating in the project and 78 will find a new one or will actively seek it. The project will be completed in July 2018.
