Solar energy for home – making photovoltaic and solar micro-installations for the needs of residents of the Municipality of Turek

This project involves the implementation of RES through the purchase and assembly of:- photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 1.31 MWe, which produce 1 359.16 MWhe/year of electricity,- solar collectors with a total capacity of 0.36 MWt, which produce 191.80 MWht/year of heat for individual households located in the Municipality of Turek. The estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions as part of the project will be 1 189.83 Mg CO2/year.The project is umbrella – it will be implemented through the Municipality of Turek, the final recipients of the project will be residents of the Municipality (individual households). The project will be implemented in the “design-build” mode. The place of implementation of the project will be the City of Turek. The power of planned solar and photovoltaic installations was selected based on the amount of electricity and heat demand of the building. As a result of the project, energy obtained from RES will be generated through the production of electricity and heat from solar energy. Installed photovoltaic installations within the project will be connected to the power grid (on-grid type). The generated energy will be used for the own needs of individual households (concurrent production and consumption of energy). Excess electricity from the site of the installation will be introduced into the network of the local distribution system operator. Solar installations will use solar energy to support the production of hot water. Heat energy will be used for individual households’ own needs. The use of renewable energy sources in the commune is low. The project will contribute to the achievement of product indicators in 2018-86 installations producing heat – 304 installations generating electricity in 2018.
