This project involves the implementation of RES through the purchase and assembly of:- photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 1.44 MWe, which produce 1483,74 MWhe/year of electricity,- solar collectors with a total capacity of 0.54 MWt, which produce 279.37 MWht/year of heat- geothermal heat pumps with a total capacity of 0,52 MWt, which produce 792.36 MWht/year of heat, for the needs of individual households located in the local districts. The project’s estimated annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions will be 1696.66 Mg CO2/year. The project is umbrella – it will be implemented through the Municipality of Kleszczewo and Krzykosy, the final recipients of the project will be residents of the Municipality (individual households). The project will be implemented in the “design-build” mode. The place of implementation of the project will be the Municipality of Kleszczowo and the Municipality of Krzykosy. The capacity of the planned installations was selected on the basis of the volume of electricity and heat demand by a given building covered by the project. Installed photovoltaic installations within the project will be connected to the power grid (on-grid type). The generated energy will be consumed for the local population’s own needs (concurrent production and consumption of energy). Excess electricity from the site of the installation will be introduced into the network of the local distribution system operator. Solar installations will use solar energy to support the production of hot water. Geothermal heat pumps will use geothermal energy to produce heat. Heat energy will be used for individual households’ own needs. The use of renewable energy sources in the municipality is low. Beneficiaries use conventional energy sources.
