The investment consisting of the thermomodernisation of the Public Kindergarten No. 15 in Ostrów Wielkopolski coincides with the city’s priority action to protect the environment by reducing emissions of harmful gases and dust entering the atmosphere by increasing the energy efficiency of buildings. The project’s products to be achieved in 2018 will be: number of energy-renovated buildings – 1 units, number of built power generation units from RES – pcs. 1 and the usable area of buildings undergoing thermal modernisation – 1259,00 m².The following works are planned in the building of Public kindergarten No.15:1. Insulation of the outer walls,2. Replacement of window and door carpentry,3. Replacement of central heating system,4. Replacement of water installations,5. Installation of photovoltaic cells,6. Accompanying works (new colour layout of the building, replacement of window sills, renovation of existing concrete roofs over the entrances to the building, renovation of the basement windows and replacement of grilles for new steel grilles and others).The exact scope of construction works of the project is presented in annexes 16 and 23 to the application. Carrying out the work described above will result in a specific environmental impact – achieving the result indicators set out in the proposal as described in point 3.5.2 of this proposal. On behalf of the investor, all works, regularity and timeliness will be ensured by the competent investor supervision inspector. The eligible costs of the project will also be the cost of preparing project documentation and project promotion. The scope of the works was chosen to meet the investor’s requirements, improve the technical condition, the energy quality of the building, and thus reduce operating costs and, above all, improve the comfort of use of children attending the kindergarten, as well as carers working there.
