The subject of the project is “Improvement of the communication infrastructure linking settlement units of the OSI pile with the expansion and modernisation of collective transport POSI supporting the integration of various forms of collective transport within the Krajenka commune”. The project will be implemented in Złota County, Krajenka commune, Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. Direct beneficiaries will be the Municipality of Krajenka, and the final beneficiaries will be residents of the zloty district. The project consists of building roads for bicycles, renovation of the building of the railway station and adapting the building and its surroundings to a transfer centre (waiting room, toilet for the disabled), construction of street lighting, installation of a multimedia plaque.The implementation will allow to reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions and improve the state of the environment, but will also increase the attractiveness of travelling by means of public transport by improving transport accessibility. Some of the costs (weather drainage) are ineligible. The project includes a number of activities related to the promotion of the use of public transport and non-motorised individual transport.
