With a view to equalising access to good quality pre-primary education, the Applicant- Municipality of Wijewo plans to create a new OP at Sam, according to the diagnosis. Kindergarten in Wijewo. The project involves the implementation of all 3 types of project, i.e. creating new pre-school education places, extending the offer of the newly created PO to include additional classes and increasing the professional competences of the teacher. 15 new preschool places for children 3-4 years will be created. The project also plans to co-finance the current activities of the newly created kindergarten branch.During the period of 12 months, the extension of the offer of the OP with additional classes, as well as raising the competences of the newly employed 1 preschool teacher (1K).Thanks to the implementation of the project, 15 children will be admitted to the new PO (8 Dz.,7c.). The applicant and the governing body for the PO at the Local Government Preschool in Wijewo is the Municipality of Wijewo – a rural municipality. The project will be implemented in the period VII.19-VIII20. The project will employ a contract teacher, a branch janitor and a person preparing meals – the beneficiary’s own contribution, the board and the cost of remuneration of the service staff will be financed. In order to create a new branch, furniture, ICT equipment will be purchased, the kitchen will be retrofitted and children’s toilet facilities will be purchased, along with adaptation of the premises to the needs of 3-4 year old children. In addition, educational aids necessary to support the development of children and organised 3 events will be purchased. The unit will operate in a 8-hour system. The municipality of Wijewo undertakes to maintain an increased number of seats within at least 2 years after the completion of the project. 1 newly employed teacher (1K) will also be supported by taking part in training courses: “The Pedagogy of Fun KLANZA,” “Sensory Integration Therapy,” “Give First Aid”.
