Improving the quality of education at Primary School No. 5 in Turku.

The subject of the project is:1. Support students in developing key competences necessary in the labour market and appropriate attitudes through:• Didactic and Equalisation in mathematics- for 16 people (2 gr. by 8 people), – a total of 90 h classes• “From Pythagoras to businessman...” – a mathematical circle of interests – for a total of 20 people (2 gr. of 10 people),- a total of 90 h classes• “And You can become a small explorer...” – the natural circle of interests – for a total of 20 people (2 gr. — Travel to the UK." – classes developing language skills – for 24 people (2 gr. 12 people) – a total of 180 hours of classes 2. Support individual approach to the student through:• Sociotherapeutic activities,- for 10 persons – a total of 120 h classes• Correctional – compensation activities,- for 10 people- a total of 120 h classes3. Improving the qualifications of the pedagogical staff:- postgraduate studies: Pedagogical therapy – 2 people – excellent course: Supporting the development of skilled pupils – 3 people – an excellent course: Individual approach to students. Recognition of diverse development and educational needs of pupils – 3 people – excellent course: Student explorer of nature – 2 people. — an excellent course: Innovatively, creatively, experimentally – mathematics in three dimensions – 1 people4. Purchase of equipment for natural science, mathematics and teaching aids for the purpose of performing sociotherapeutic and corrective and compensatory activities.The tasks planned for the project are the result of the diagnosis carried out by the school. A deep analysis showed the need to implement the project elements in order to deepen and broaden pupils’ knowledge and competences of teachers/pedagogs.
