The subject of the project is revitalisation of the Old Market Square in Poznań, including: Task 1: Reconstruction and modernisation of the surface of the square and pavements within the Old Market, i.e.: plaque of the Old Market Square and sections of streets: Wroniecka, Jewish, Wielka, janiwo, Wodna, Świętosławska, Szkolna, Ignacy Paderewski, Sierocej, Kramar Franciszkańska and the intersection of Zamkowa and Rynkowa Streets along with the adaptation of a fragment of the internal market block (ul. Jan Baptist Quadro) to meet the needs of various cultural functions in this space. In addition to the revalorisation of the surface, the concept assumes a method of retention of rainwater in two underground retention tanks. Modernisation of the Arsenal Municipal Gallery and its superstructure and revitalisation of the Old Market Square have been designed (PFU) taking into account the concept of universal design and using rational improvements to ensure the availability and use of infrastructure for everyone, including persons with reduced mobility and disabilities. The Old Market Square in Poznań and the buildings of cultural institutions, including the Arsenal Municipal Gallery, will be made available to various social actors in a wider scope for projects and tasks by means of which the revitalisation area will be solved.Products of the project will be (year of 2020):• Areas covered by the revitalisation area – 1.96 ha• Open space created or rehabilitated in urban areas – 18904 m²• refurbished public buildings or commercial areas.
