The subject of the project is the revitalisation of urban space in the settlements No. 1 “Śródmieście” and No. 11 “Powstańców Wielkopolskie” in Ostrów Wielkopolski by:1. Creation of Ostrowski Local Activity Centre (OCAL)The task is to modernise the building, i.e. construction and finishing works, sanitary, electrical, as well as installation of LED lighting and 70 PV panels. It is also planned to adapt the facility to the needs of the disabled, e.g. an external elevator.2. Modernisation of the MIEJSKI AmphitheaterThe task is to: extension of the amphitheatre stage by social facilities, roofing over the stage, enlargement of audience capacity.3. Modernisation of JORDANOWSKI GardensThe task is to: separation of zones by age of users or functions, e.g. playground area, fitness, seating, disabled persons and field gym for adults, including seniors.4. Revitalisation of the public road in the city centre – WOONERFThe task is to improve the functionality of road traffic in the very centre of the city (ul. The Spring of the Peoples) and its limitation, slowing down and calming down. Creation of a safe space for pedestrians, so-called “woonerf”, which will host integration meetings, exhibitions/city festivals (ul. The exact scope of the project’s construction works is presented in Annexes 14 and 21 to the application for funding. The project products will be:• Areas covered by the revitalisation – 2.43 ha• Open space created or rehabilitated in urban areas – 12667 m² • Public or commercial buildings built or renovated in urban areas -903.62 m² • Number of supported infrastructure facilities located in revitalised areas -4 pcs.• Number of facilities tailored to the needs of people with disabilities – 4 pieces• Length of remodeled municipal roads to the revitalised area – 0.415 km• Project share
