The subject of the project is the construction of a kindergarten in the Pruślin estate in Ostrów Wielkopolski. The investment will improve the accessibility, quality and efficiency of preschool education in the city. The kindergarten building will ultimately be characterised by the following parameters: usable area of 1141,60 m²; height – 6.15 m, length 63.63 m and width 16.96 m-39.06 m. The kindergarten building will be a one-storey building and will also have the necessary infrastructure to ensure the proper functioning of the kindergarten (i.e. installations: electric, gas, ventilation, water and sewer.The building, designed in accordance with the concept of universal design, will be a safe building that meets all the standards required for this type of facilities, with particular emphasis on adaptation for people with disabilities. The new building will be moved to Kindergarten No. 3, attended by 75 children. This number will be increased by 25 thanks to the investment. The building is designed in energy-saving technology and aims to ensure high energy quality and thus relatively low operating costs. On the roof it is planned to place photovoltaic cells to convert solar energy into electricity (30 panels each of 250 W). The construction technology is intended to provide thermal comfort for children attending kindergarten and their caregivers. The architectural solutions used were chosen to ensure the full functionality of the building and in the future it could be expanded by another two branches. On behalf of the investor, all works and their regularity will be supervised by a competent supervisory inspector. The project’s products to be achieved at the end of 2016 will be the number of pre-school facilities supported (1 pieces) and the potential for childcare or educational infrastructure support (100 people).
