The subject of the project is “Minicentrum of Science and Creativity with infrastructure strengthening the physical fitness of pupils and equipping the existing facility of Primary School No. 1 in Chodzieża”. The project will be implemented in the City of Chodzieża, in the district of Białystok, in Wielkopolska voivodship. Direct beneficiaries will be City Walking and Project Partner Non-public Primary School in Chodzież. The final beneficiaries will be residents of the Chodzieski district, in particular the City of Chodzieży, the school district SP no. 1.The project assumes the reconstruction of the gym at primary school no. 1, adaptation of existing premises for sanitary and classrooms. As a result, the way of developing a part of the plot in the immediate vicinity of the rebuilt part of the school building will change. In addition, as part of the project, it is planned to purchase equipment for the Mini-Centrum of Science and Creativity. Retrofitting will enable students to conduct classes based on the experimental method and other innovative teaching methods. The project responds to the city’s fundamental problems: low level of competence of pupils, limited possibility of retrofitting schools and carrying out additional activities, limited access to special education. The implementation of the project creates opportunities for a partial solution to these problems.
