The subject of the investment is the construction of the interchange node, pavement and platforms of the bus loop in Wyszyńskiego Street in Police, including: manoeuvring roads, parking platforms for buses, buses, taxis, bicycles, construction of bus worlds, exits from the district road, construction of walking – bicycle and sidewalks along the district road, street lighting. The implementation of the project provides the possibility of switching between public and individual transport systems. Currently, the interchange node is located in Wyszyńskiego Street, but its location interferes with the functioning of the economic sphere. The node will be moved to the outskirts of the built area by approx. 300 m in relation to the current location. Due to its central location, Wyszyńskiego Street is the main communication hub from which residents and tourists move to satellite towns, places of residence and work – mainly to Szczecin. An efficient interchange will facilitate travel for all who use collective transport every day and thus improve the comfort and safety of public transport. Passengers will be able to change quickly from one bus line to another and reach almost any place in the city, the commune, and above all to Szczecin. In the vicinity of the junction there will be a park car park & ride. So far, unused places with good location will become a friendly and useful public space. Wyszyńskiego Street will gain new exits, lighting and pavements. Convenient parking conditions will be provided by taxi operators. The project is compatible with Type 1. It includes, in particular, the construction of interchange centres, the “Park and Drive” facilities and the bike & ride. The technical solutions adopted are optimal for the needs of the interchange node and the loop and provide the right solution for the needs of residents, passengers, road safety
