Development of sustainable urban mobility in Kołobrzeg

The project assumes the construction of a transfer centre on the street. Baltic Sea/crossing from ul. Salt, reconstruction of public transport stops (46 pieces), construction of a bicycle path in Łopuskiego Street as a connection to the Municipal Centre of Sport and Recreation, construction of a bicycle walk in Starynowska Street as a combination of districts of the city and ensuring safe cycling road for accessing schools and work, the system of bicycle parking at schools (9 pieces) and implementation of the urban bike system. The aim of the project is to change the mode of transport from an individual car to a public or individual bicycle as a means of accessing a transfer centre or a workplace/school. The implementation of the project will affect changes in urban mobility leading to a reduction of CO2 emissions and other harmful pollutants for the environment and residents and to increase the energy efficiency of the transport system.
