The project consists of the thermomodernisation of public buildings. The investment will include seven buildings located in Szczecin: Gymnasium No. 10 at Siemiradzkiego Street 2, First-degree Music School at Bolesława Śmiała Street 42-43, Youth Palace at 7 Piast Avenue, Social Assistance House at Krucza Street 17, Social Assistance House at 21 Romera Street, Primary School No. 63 at Grodzka Street 23 and Lentz Villa at ul. Wojska Polskiego 84. All buildings are located in the City of Szczecin belonging to the Szczecin Metropolitan Area. The implementation of the investment will reduce the use of final energy necessary to ensure the proper functioning of public buildings and energy efficiency, increase its efficiency and improve the standards of services provided. In the longer term, the investment will significantly reduce the beneficiary’s financial expenditure. Moreover, the investment will improve the environment by reducing carbon dioxide emissions and will also contribute to the development of positive environmental attitudes in the city of Szczecin. The project also envisages the implementation of the information element on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. On the website of each of the schools and websites of social assistance homes, there will be a bookmark, which will easily and interestingly publish information on the benefits for people and the environment of actions to improve energy efficiency, use of renewable energy sources. The website will encourage recipients to take action to protect the environment.
