Construction of cycle routes network of Western Pomerania – Nadmorska route

The subject of the project is the construction of sections of cycling routes in the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship, which are included in the priority corridor of the Nadmorskie Route. The project will be implemented in areas of valuable natural value. As part of the project, the construction of bicycle routes will be carried out in the communes: Mielno, Sianów, Darlowo, Postomino and the town of Kolobrzeg. The main objective of the project is to channel tourism and protect the environment by building cycling routes in areas of natural value. The sections of the cycle route built as part of the project coincide with the key sections and important sections specified in the concept of the Western Pomeranian Cycle Route Network. The implementation of the project will affect the area of habitats supported to achieve a better conservation status (total of 5.88 ha of natural valuable areas), the number of supported conservation forms (5 areas: The reserve “Łazy”, OChK “Koszaliński Pase Nadmorski”, OChK “Pas Pobrzeża na West of Ustka”, Trzebiatow-Kołobrzeski Podmorskie Belt, Lake Bukowo, Lake Kopań. The project will also affect the protection of plant habitats (10 pieces). The result of the project’s implementation on natural valuable areas will be to reduce anthropopression in these areas thanks to a well-thought-out focus of tourist traffic.
