Project titled “Modernisation of the video monitoring system of inland waterways of the RIS system” will be implemented by the Office of Inland Navigation in Szczecin. Period of implementation: 01.07.2018-31.12.2019. The scope of the modernisation project includes: • exchange of camera points, • purchase of a professional central image recording system with software allowing sharing access for other public administration entities, • installation of devices and software. It is planned to buy 31 rotary cameras and 3 stationary cameras. Cameras will be installed in different locations allowing inland waterways to be monitored in areas/sections: 1. Lake Dąbie to the border with sea waters [9,5 km] 2. River Odra from the village ognica to Przekopu Klucz-Ustowo and further as the Regalica river to Lake Dąbie [44,6 km] 3. Western Oder River: a. From the lake in Widuchowa (704,1 km of the Oder River) to the border with the sea’s internal waters, together with the side branches [33,6] b. Przekop Klucz-Ustowo connecting the river East Oder with the river West Oder [2.7 km] c. The river Parnica and Przekop Parnicki from the Western Oder River to the border with the maritime internal waters [6.9 km] After the completion of the project, the infrastructure project will be possible. The project does not require other additional activities, including projects, for its operation. The applicant shall provide technical resources to handle the project after its completion, including appropriate media. Staff resources will be ensured – project support will be guaranteed by employees of the Office. They have knowledge and qualifications about the operation of equipment and the use of the information they provide. In addition, the equipment will be serviced as part of post-warranty services.
