On the way to success

The project is addressed to pupils and students of all public schools in the municipality of Stepnica, the Primary School in Stepnica and the primary school in Racimierz and teachers working in these schools. The aim of the project is to develop key competences and skills needed in the future in the labour market among 420(200K/220M) pupils and to increase the quality of education in the two schools of the municipality of Stepnica in the period from VIII 2018 to VI 2020. The project plans to address research problems by means of an educational project that increases students’ awareness of learning and creativity, classes developing interests in the field of mathematical and natural subjects, computer sciences in the field of programming, foreign language, specialised and compensatory classes. In schools, all students will take part in vocational counseling classes. In addition, educational trips to the Copernicus Science Centre and the Scientific Green School were planned. The project will host four School Science Festivals and two programming competitions. The classrooms will be equipped with the necessary teaching aids for conducting classes using experiments and experiments, as well as information and communication technology tools necessary to achieve result indicators and product indicators. Teachers will receive support in the form of training in the use of modern technologies in teaching classes and innovative teaching methods, including experiences and experiments with a focus on conducting classes for students with special educational needs. As a result of the implementation of the programme, the following indicators are planned: Implementation of 48 educational projects, 5748 hours of classes raising the competence of key pupils including: developing their abilities, helping to choose a further path of education and in terms of employment. The project is complementary to the strategy of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area.
