The project includes the reconstruction and extension of the existing residential building for the Queen of the Apostles’ Hospice. Implementation of the project in the optimal scope ensures its self-sufficiency in the field of hospice activity.The care of the sick will be provided by a full-time medical staff, assisted by volunteers. The hospice will also be a meeting place for the community of people active in the hospice movement there will also be information and training activities for sick families. The functional program of the hospice includes rooms for 19 patients and medical, sanitary and kitchen facilities. Once the project is completed, the Hospice will be ready to take up permanent palliative care activities, fully utilise the infrastructure and do not require additional action. The applicant shall provide technical, personnel and knowledge to ensure that the infrastructure is operational immediately after the completion of the project.
