PIVOTS

The pivots project consists of a set of six “Platforms for Innovation, Valuation and Optimisation of Environmental Technology”, involving public and private actors from the Centre-Val de Loire Region: the BRGM (Bureau of Geological and Mining Research), which is the coordinator, the CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), the INRA (Institut national de la recherche agronomiques), the University of Orleans, the agency Le Studium, the competitiveness cluster DREAM (Durability of the water resource associated with environments) and Antea Group (Société internationale d’ingénierie et de consultancy en environnement). This application concerns only the 4 platforms in which the CNRS participates and which involve 4 laboratories: —Institut de Combustion Aerothermique Réactivity et Environnement (ICARE UPR 3021) -Institut des Sciences de la Terre d’Orléans (ISTO UMR 7327) – Interfaces Confinement Materials and Nanostructures (ICMN UMR 7374) -Laboratoire de Physique et Chimie de l’Environnement et de l’Espace (LPC2E UMR 7328) and a research federation: Observatoire des Sciences de l’Universe en région Centre (OSUC UMS 3116) The objectives of the pivotal project are: —to bring together partner laboratories more broadly around a coordinated set of instrumental and technological platforms, -to articulate in an effective way the fundamental research questions of public laboratories and the needs for conceptual or technological innovation...
