THE PROJECT COMPRISES BOTH STRUCTURAL AND OPERATIONAL MEASURES FOR SMART GRIDS. THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUCTURAL MEASURES IS TO CHANGE THE DESIGN OF THE PLANT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS FOR OPERATION AND TO IMPROVE THE DESIGN OF THE INSTALLATION. THE DESIGN OF THE INSTALLATION SHALL CONSIST OF THE USE OF STATE-OF-THE-ART DEVICES ENABLING THE COMPLETE SMARTISATION OF THE PRIMARY CABIN AND THE UNDERLYING CABS. IN ADDITION, THE MT LINES WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW ALUMINIUM AND ALUMINIUM WIRE ROPES. THE PROJECT WILL ALSO COVER THE UPGRADING OF THE PRIMARY CABIN BY INCREASING THE CAPACITY OF THE PROJECT. THE PROJECT QUALIFIES AS SMART GRIDS IN SO FAR AS IT INVOLVES THE INSTALLATION OF SMART TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES FOR THE IMPROVED MANAGEMENT OF THE ELECTRICITY NETWORK, WITH THE AIM OF FACILITATING THE INCREASE IN THE SHARE OF ENERGY DEMAND COVERED BY GENERATION FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES. THIS IS IMPLEMENTED IF:
