THIS PROJECT PROVIDES FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF TRADITIONAL CONDUCTORS WITH HIGHLY CAPACITISED INNOVATIVE CONDUCTORS (THE HIGH TEMPERATURE CONDUCTOR CALLED THE ALUMINIUM ALLOY ROPE CONDUCTOR (ZAL) — WITH AN ALUMINIUM ALLOY FE-NI (ACI) BEING 22.75 MM) ON THE LINES OF 150 KV: CASARNO-CASTRIGNANO MARTIGNANO MARTIGNANO-S. COSIMO, CASARARNO-RACALE, GALATINA-CASARANO AND DISO-MAGLIE.THE USE OF THESE CONDUCTORS ALLOWS FOR THE OPTIMAL MANAGEMENT OF THE NETWORK, INCREASING ITS SAFETY EVEN IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OPERATION (FOR EXAMPLE AS A RESULT OF TEMPORARY OVERLOADS DUE TO ABNORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS OR NATURAL CONDITIONS) BY REDUCING BOTTLENECKS AND AVOIDING REACHING THE THRESHOLD FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE LIMITS ON LAND, ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS AND MECHANICAL STRENGTH OF THE COMPONENTS.
