THE INCASS PROJECT PROVIDES FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW TYPE OF STRUCTURAL FACADE IN THE ‘AIRFRAME’ TYPE TO ‘AIRFRAME’ CAPABLE OF RESPONDING TO THE GROWING DEMAND FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND SAFETY FOR BUILDING COMPONENTS. THE STRUCTURAL FACADE OF A ÃO UNIT IS MADE UP OF ALUMINIUM UPRIGHTS AND CROSS-SECTIONS, WITH AN OPENING OR A FIXED PARTITION, ALL CONSTITUENT PARTS OF THE SINGLE CELL SHALL BE ASSEMBLED IN FULL IN THE WORKSHOP AND THEN CARRIED ON THE SITE AND DEPLOYED. THE FACADE FORMS ARE FOUND TO BE STRUCTURALLY INDEPENDENT AND ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER AND WITH TELESCOPIC JOINTS SO THAT, AFTER INSTALLATION, CALIBRATION MOVEMENTS IN THE SIDE PLANE ARE POSSIBLE, IT WILL ALSO BE A COMPUTER TRACKING SYSTEM.
