GREEN SMART KITCHEN (GREEMEN): INTELLIGENT FOOD WITH A CONSCIOUS AND SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT.

NOWADAYS THE PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF KITCHENS SEEMS TO HAVE ACHIEVED A GOOD LEVEL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY. THE KITCHEN FURNITURE IS STILL HEAVILY AFFECTED BY THE COMPOSITION OF THE MATERIALS AND THE GLUES AND SOLVENTS, WHICH ARE COMMONLY USED BOTH IN THE PRODUCTION OF THE NOBLE PANELS AND IN THE PROCESSING, PAINTING, FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY. THESE PRODUCTS ARE SOURCES OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCS), IMPORTANT PRECURSORS FOR THE FORMATION OF OZONE IN THE LOWER LAYERS OF THE ATMOSPHERE, WHICH ARE VERY DANGEROUS EVEN FOR THE HEALTH OF THE PERSON PERCHES© MAY CAUSE RESPIRATORY IRRITATION AND ARE VERY OFTEN CARCINOGENIC.
