Overall objectives: Test Platform X is an established business and is a model for meeting the needs, driving forces and challenges of creators and new and existing KKN companies. Project objectives: More companies within KKN are starting, existing KKN companies are growing and the breeding ground for creativity has increased. Sub-targets: 1. A wide range of creators/entrepreneurs/entrepreneurs have been given the opportunity to be in the incubator 2. Through new networks, skills and knowledge, entrepreneurs have broadened their business and reached greater development potential in 3. Through information, learning, visibility and communication around the ideas, entrepreneurs and companies, the project can inspire and inspire more people to entrepreneurship 4. The project has broken new ground regarding working methods and approaches in how to develop ideas and companies within KKN The project will work to recruit and develop ideas in cultural and creative industries. Recruitment will take place through different types of marketing efforts towards different target groups, including students and employees at Umeå University. When an idea comes to the project, the support for this should be tailored. A team will be formed around each idea, consisting of consultants with expertise, mentors and others for the idea important actors. The idea will develop into a new company or make an existing company grow. Activities and coaching, workshops, seminars, events, prototype testing, etc. The project will test itself to a new approach based on the unique needs of each idea. The Maker movement culture is the main factor in the development of ideas. A creative and flexible environment will be built up in the premises at the Arts Campus at Sliperiet at Umeå University. The project is expected to lead to 25 new companies and support 50 companies.
