In order for environmental technology innovations to reach market introduction and dissemination, competent and risk-willing clients are willing to test new services, products and processes. In the project, STUNS will develop a scalable and dispersable working model for carrying out test bed projects where municipal companies act as an early customer to environmental technology suppliers. The goals are to carry out test bed projects with the aim of demonstrating practical examples of the implementation of new environmental technology solutions in energy efficiency, energy production and smart grids. The test beds will serve as open platforms for exchange of experience, learning and knowledge development. The project’s working model will then be disseminated through primarily cooperation with the regional energy offices in Öms. Agreements will be signed with three municipal housing companies that will operate as tea beds in the project. Small and medium-sized companies are the target group, both through the client organisations and the suppliers of new innovative technology solutions. In the long term, the project can contribute to sustainable regional growth by creating structures to support client organisations to collaborate with environmental technology suppliers and thus also implement new environmental technology.
