Overall objectives More of the region’s SMEs should have innovation activity or innovation collaboration to create innovative products and services aimed at environmentally friendly and resource-efficient data centres. Project objectives The project goal is to create and/or contribute to the creation of the following measurable results; 7 newly created regional SMEs, what offer is based on research and innovation in technology, methods, ways of working, business model or other area 6 new offers, i/from existing SMEs, based on research and innovation 3 % increased gross turnover from innovation-based SMEs to/within the data centre sector 5 % higher average gross turnover (per employee) of the SMEs that have high innovation content in their offerings, compared to the SMEs whose offer is more traditional, at a time of 15 SMEs, which have been established by the SMEs in an innovative way in terms of their offerings, and the SMEs, which have been created by a more traditional organisation at the same time as SMEs, have been established by the SMEs that have a high level of innovation in their offerings, compared to the SMEs whose offer is more traditional, at the same time as SMEs. The project will promote innovations in 1) new building and design methods for data centres 2) new/improved fun solutions for data centers 3) energy reuse from cold hot air 4) energy-conscious cloud
