The overall goal of the project is to increase internationalisation of companies from the food, packaging and manufacturing industries. The project goal is to contribute to sustainable export business for participating companies. The quantitative objective is 20 new export business or international cooperation. The ambition is that the project will provide support to 45 companies in the said industries. The project initially prepares companies with internationalisation plans and capacity and knowledge-enhancing efforts. The companies then participate in direct marketing activities such as business delegations, customer visits and fair participation. The expected result is that all companies have gained an increased knowledge of internationalisation and exports and that they all have an internationalisation plan. 20 export business or international collaborations must have been created as a result of the project’s efforts. The project also lays the foundation for continued cooperation between the parties for increased internationalisation of the region’s food, packaging and industry companies.
