The overall goal of the project is that the conceptual sector, public, academia, industry and individual social entrepreneurs contribute to more social innovations and sustainable social enterprises in the region. The project goal is to create a sustainable innovation infrastructure and more support functions as the basis for more social innovations and sustainable social enterprises. The project will implement initiatives for a developed innovation support structure, promote greater collaboration between the actors in this structure, provide advice and support to social companies, organisations and social entrepreneurs. The project will also create local development environments and work with impact efforts at local and regional levels. Expected effects in the long term are that social innovations and social entrepreneurship are clearly integrated into the regional innovation system and that the cooperation has gone from a network to a net cluster of mature social enterprises and that social innovation and social entrepreneurship become a regional area of strength. In total, the project will provide support and advice to 600 companies, 200 organisations and 900 individuals.
