Through this project, small and medium-sized companies are offered support for conducting energy mapping. By energy mapping their operations, companies gain knowledge about their energy use and profitable measures. The purpose of energy mapping support is to enable companies to achieve an efficient use of energy. The overall goal of the project is for small and medium-sized companies to gain increased knowledge about their energy use and about profitable energy efficiency measures, which in the long run will lead to reduced energy use in companies and thus also energy costs. The support can thus lead to reduced costs for the company, which has a positive impact on the competitiveness of companies Energy efficiency should not be an isolated one-time effort but part of a system of continuous efforts to work strategically, systematically and structured with their own energy use. The support will be offered throughout the country, however, the companies are not evenly distributed geographically. The project is a framework project and state aid within the project is granted in accordance with the Ordinance (2009:1577) on state aid for energy mapping.
