The project will offer basic support across the country with equal opportunities for SMEs to receive guidance in their energy work. The need for regional adaptations, to ensure that the project contributes to all horizontal criteria, will take place initially. The regional nodes project, which will be run by the regional energy offices, complements the energy mapping support and is an expanded and developed way of working to shift the effects of energy mapping support. All of the agency’s efforts within the National Regional Fund are based on operational logic and power chains, with holistic thinking supported the target group in taking the next step in their energy work. Energy efficiency should not be an isolated one-off effort, but part of a system of continuous efforts to work strategically, systematically and structured with its own energy use. The support can be marketed on a regional level in the contexts that companies operate. With close proximity to the companies, the nodes have the opportunity to offer support and guidance when applying, reporting and ordering energy mapping. By offering the companies to participate in seminars, or otherwise assimilate information, they can be given support to implement measures and implement systematic and structured energy work.
