Phase 1 Collaboration Projects Energy Efficiency Network

The goal of this project is to establish networks to facilitate small and medium-sized companies to work systematically and structured with energy efficiency and thereby achieve more efficient industrial energy use. The networks started in the project are an opportunity to address more transaction costs at the same time and strengthen the companies’ systematic and more long-term work. A model for networking is in terms of content one step along the way for companies to meet the requirements of ISO 50 001. Under impact targets, only the effects that are expected to occur during the project period are reported. After the project time, the effects will be much greater depending on how the company networks spread and develop. In the long term, completely new energy service solutions are expected, which greatly benefit both energy service providers but also companies that use energy services The aim is to get the business sector, specifically SMEs, to energy efficiency their operations and thus also become more competitive in the market. The National Regional Fund’s total impact target is a reduction in SMEs’ energy use per value added by 2023. The primary target group is all Swedish small and medium-sized companies with energy consumption more than 2GWh/year. A recruitment process in each county determines any industry focus. The secondary target group is all companies that do not participate in the networks, as well as Energy Offices and County Administrative Boards that will run networks as well as other social actors interested in or run energy efficiency networks. The project is a collaborative project. The Swedish Energy Agency will collaborate with county administrative boards and regional energy offices in the project.
