The project aims, among other things, to create increased competitiveness and rate of development in smaller companies, create more sustainable business and increased efficiency in the innovation system for SMEs. Johanneberg Science Park (JSP) will in the project develop and test a methodology for companies to develop sustainable business models. The companies should have the potential to be successful in future scenarios characterised by lack of resources, uncertainty and restrictions of various kinds. The project is aimed at medium-sized manufacturing companies, who will participate in a workshop series and then receive follow-up individual coaching. The project is also expected to contribute to continued collaborations and business networks and JSP wants to highlight Västra Götaland Region as a forward-looking region in the area of sustainability. There are several business-oriented organisations that spend time in the project without it being visible in the budget, such as CSR West Sweden, Swerea IVF and Connect West.
