The overall goal of the project is to develop the digital platform and ICT services together with SMEs to increase customer benefits in the enterprise-supporting system. In the project The entrepreneurial Värmland run by Almi Företagspartner during the years 2011-2014, a work started where Värmland got a digital entry on the site verksamt.se/varmland. Värmland has now been appointed pilot county to develop a web-based service linked to the county side. Therefore, this project’s goal is to increase the number of companies and potential entrepreneurs using the digital Verksamt Värmland service by 100 %. To increase the number of unique visitors to the regional side, the digital platform will be developed technologically, communication efforts will be made to increase the influx of companies and the interface to companies will be developed. In order for more companies and potential entrepreneurs to experience that the support they received had the right quality, future users/entrepreneurs should be involved in the development of the quality of the site. In addition, knowledge development and coordination will take place between the project and the actors who will provide support to the users. The actors must be quality assured via the web. To see what problems users encounter, so-called Companions will follow a number of users through the system to see if they get the support they expect. At the end of the project, the digital platform is expected to be an obvious choice for potential users/entrepreneurs who need support/help with questions about their entrepreneurship. There will be new services linked to the platform e.g. tools for matching between financing and internationalisation. These tools will serve as a brokerage service between entrepreneurs and regional actors, networks or offers in the support system that can best meet the entrepreneur’s needs.
