Linnaeus Innovation Designlab

The aim of the project is to establish an innovation and design-driven competence centre for business-academic society in collaboration, Linnaeus Innovation Design Lab, a competence centre focusing on design. Primary target groups are SME, primarily in Glasriket and in Kalmar, Torsås and Växjö municipalities, with development needs in innovation technology, design and entrepreneurship. A meeting place is created, where new knowledge and research are made available. Researchers, teachers and students become more accessible to companies and vice versa. The project is regional but is based on Pukeberg’s unique environment and with a number of stakeholders, who are of great importance to the project’s goals and sustainability in the longer term. Here you will find Linnaeus University with design courses, Riksglasskolan, Design Archive with research libraries, companies, associations, artists, craftsmen, designers, shops, restaurants. Co-financers are Linne University, Regional Union of Kalmar County, Nybro Municipality.
