The project will increase the benefits of research and care development by developing more fast-growing and innovative companies in close collaboration with healthcare and established industry. The efforts will contribute to developing demanded products in the global market for healthcare. Furthermore, a platform for collaboration between academia, industrial companies and life science companies will be created. Companies participating in the project will receive comprehensive support in the form of product and business development efforts and the companies will be selected through a call procedure. The content of the calls reflects the needs of healthcare and is defined jointly by healthcare, industry and academia. The project will result in a lasting governance and development model for the development of SME in early phase. The model will be permanent in Eastern Sweden’s research and innovation environments and be available to SME also outside these environments.
