The overall objective of the pilot study is to lay the foundation for one or more implementation projects with the aim of increasing the use of residual heat between companies in order to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in companies. The project goal is to deliver a feasibility study to investigate residual heat collaborations in Eastern Sweden. The project is based on studies that show that there is great potential for residual heat collaborations in Eastern Sweden but for various reasons they have not been realised. The project will further investigate the matter by compiling previous surveys and studies and then prioritising the most interesting cases and organising workshops to reach proposals for further work. The feasibility study is carried out in collaboration with the companies in Eastern Sweden that are relevant to participate in a residual heat collaboration. Expected results are a pre-study that shows a priority of potential residual heat collaborations and how these can be implemented.
