The project will develop a general method and an approach to how small and medium-sized companies can work to create an energy efficient, sustainable and profitable company. The project will contribute to companies finding new networks and partners in the area of sustainability. The project will be based on the companies’ own development projects, where they implement overall and system thinking about the planning of energy supply and the utilisation of resources. The process will mean that participating companies will receive coaching and advice based on the company’s project plan, which means that companies apply a sustainable approach both within the company and in the development of products and services. This will mean that participating companies build a brand associated with sustainable values. The project is expected to result in at least 15 of the 50 participating companies delivering commercialised environmentally sustainable innovation projects. 20 companies must have participated in the Greenhouse Process, 30 companies must have reduced in consultative innovation advice. Through the project, participating companies will have acquired knowledge, new insights and clearer strategies to continue to develop and commercialise sustainable products and services. The insights the companies gained through the project will result in companies making demands in their business relationships that entail a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the reduction of energy consumption.
