The project consists of two parts; Gu Ventures continued investment in social entrepreneurship through targeted initiatives as well as a development process focusing on evaluation and learning. Social entrepreneurship is a relatively new area for GU Ventures, the intention is to invest resources on a larger scale than previously done to primarily generate new business ideas but also to support existing initiatives. The business supporting functions that will be developed during the project period are primarily aimed at researchers and students at the University of Gothenburg in the theme areas of food, health and work. In terms of the organisation’s development process, this is intended to provide continuous learning for the organisation by e.g. reviewing, improving and changing a number of existing knowledge concepts (modules) used within GU Ventures.
