The overall goal is to contribute to an increased investment in research and innovation in SMEs (SMF) and to shorten the path from knowledge development to application. The project will therefore strengthen collaboration in research and innovation between academia, public sector and industry based on virtual simulation for selected thematic areas. This will happen by creating several environments, where companies will strengthen their product development and decision support through virtual simulations and IT tools. There are three parts of the project; an overarching part of innovation collaboration and two thematic environments with the theme Virtual Engineering and Virtual Health. Within these, 6 demonstrators will be developed, in cooperation with, among others, Redoxis and Volvo Trucks. A clear purpose within the environment is to reduce the thresholds for small and medium-sized participation in R & D activities and thereby increase cooperation with academia and the public sector.
