Innovation power for sparsely populated areas

Overall objectives: through the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and in-depth collaboration between regions, municipalities and industry, create creative and innovative solutions for growth and improved access to community services and thus create an attractive sparsely populated area to live and develop in. The four project goals consist of establishing eight community-based virtual rooms, to develop/test new digital services and applications, that more people use these digital services instead of travelling and to make more accessible community services with more satisfied population. Through 6 main activities, passed on to 39 different sub-activities, the project will be implemented to achieve the project goals and contribute to the overall goal. This is expected to yield, among other things, the following results: 8 virtual rooms for community services are established, 3 new services are developed in the business community connected to the project and 4 new uses/benefits are located for the community-based rooms.
