This is a feasibility study carried out as a collaborative project where Almi Företagspartner Nord is applicant and Energy Office North is a collaboration partner. The feasibility study aims to investigate the prerequisites for a collaborative project and define reasonable and challenging project goals for the implementation project. The objective of the implementation project will be set as a result of the feasibility study, but the main features can be summarised with: Gender equality in terms of reducing the energy use of the region’s business sector, mainly reducing the specific energy use of the type used kWh per produced unit or similar – Reduce the business sector’s emissions of greenhouse gases (CO2) – Connect energy and emissions results to companies’ business strategies – Develop and test target group-specific training materials/forms for SMF – Develop and test target group-adapted training materials/forms for companies – and they are involved in new issues and sustainable development, and that they are involved in different gender-based issues, and that they are involved in a number of different types of business. Another target group is business advisors and energy and climate advisors as our idea of the implementation project is to create training or information packages to guide other business advisory organisations that want to help companies reduce their energy consumption. The pre-study’s target group is the same as in the implementation project, as the purpose of the feasibility study is to assure quality of a project idea. The feasibility study shall answer the stated questions and thereby provide sufficient knowledge to either create a quality-assured project with a high probability of reaching the goal or confirming that an implementation project is not feasible in planned form and a rework of the implementation project is required.
