Incentives for energy efficiency

The project will develop tools and methods for increased systematic energy work in small and medium-sized enterprises. All companies with significant energy use will at some point in contact with the regional or local supervisory authorities (county boards and municipalities). The project will use the supervisory authorities to disseminate information and knowledge to companies subject to supervision. Together with selected county administrative boards, the Swedish Energy Agency will develop and disseminate a methodology for companies’ self-control so that companies can monitor and monitor their energy use and implement profitable measures. The project will also develop a methodology for the supervisory authorities to be able to follow the company’s work and results. Methods and tools will be disseminated to small 2016 and medium-sized enterprises in the supervisory visits made by the regional and local supervisory authorities. By using the existing structures and channels available through environmental supervision, the supervisory authorities will be able to provide information about the methods/tools/materials developed in the project into a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises.By using the supervisory structure, small and medium-sized enterprises are reached in different industries, which helps to reduce differences between different industries in terms of energy efficiency. The measures are expected to be implemented in the ongoing operations of the various organisations and thereby permanentise.
