The goal of the project is to establish a regional collaboration platform that, through internal and external collaborations, supports the region’s food companies in their work for innovation, value development and sustainable renewal. Sub-target 1: The region’s food industry will establish long-term cooperation on innovation, value development and sustainable renewal. Sub-target 2: Increased value development and new products and services in participating companies. Sub-target 3: Increased knowledge of regional conditions for sustainable renewal. Sub-target 4: Identify national and international partners who contribute to the goal. Expected long-term results are a platform that supports food companies in their R & D work by being a pilot to the right skills for SMEs that do not have sufficient resources for research and development. The work contributes to higher competence in the industry as well as to increased contacts with research and higher education institutions, which leads to an increase in innovation development.
