DesignIT

Increased digitisation in society and working life means that more and more areas are using information and communication technology. A good understanding of the users, its driving force and their context is therefore necessary for well-functioning solutions to be developed. Investments in interaction design and to get a design perspective on the interaction between people and technology are also important for future innovations to be competitive. The DesignIT project wants to run research and innovation projects and disseminate knowledge in interaction design and user experience where small and medium-sized companies and test beds are important co-actors. The project also wants to increase collaboration between research and industry. The overall goal of the project is for small and medium-sized companies in the region to strengthen their innovation capacity and technological development through collaboration with researchers and other important actors. The project goal is that more SMEs develop their expertise in interaction design, user experience and user-centred development, and that more small and medium-sized companies should have knowledge about and experience of innovation projects and of collaboration with research actors. The project’s activities consist of mapping projects based on the needs formulated by participating companies followed by concept development and testing and evaluation of developed concepts. Open lectures and workshops will be arranged.
