SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS (HAVE) FOR INNOVATIVE REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Overall objectives: Develop cross-industry platform where academia, clusters and companies interact as integrated systems where all actors depend on each other to create and develop innovative sustainable business relationships and regional competitiveness. Project objectives: Develop open R & D environment and knowledge through collaboration with innovation centres and their partner companies in research areas that deal with the effects of increased digitalisation, market-oriented internationalisation and sustainability requirements. Sub-target 1: Identify and analyse the critical HAR-related R & D factors of clusters and companies that contribute to innovative development. Sub-target 2: Develop business models that promote innovation and SMART specialisation in more companies. Sub-target 3: Develop strategies that promote the ability of clusters and companies to utilise innovative ideas and products to meet the needs of critical stakeholders in the market. Sub-target 4: Measure effects of resource efficiency in increased collaboration through digitalisation. Sub-target 5: Increase the number of innovative high-tech companies’ establishment in the international market. Sub-target 6: Increase the application of standardised accounting systems at companies that meet sustainability requirements. Sub-target 7: Pursue and expand research in HAR-related R & D areas within the project. Sub-target 8: Increase the number of events that highlight companies as good role models and inspiration for other companies. Sub-target 9: Evaluate and follow up the project’s activities and goals for continued work on the platform. Activities: Platform building, workshops, seminars, creating business models that enable Smart Specialisation, strategic international marketing, mapping existing market knowledge and developing market orientation models. The participation of the business community: In the methods and models applied, companies take an active role in their own development while also expected to act openly by disseminating and sharing knowledge and experiences. Shared ownership of processes and active participation in activities aims to create innovative and dynamic development climate in and between organisations. Workshops and seminars where companies participate in collaboration with and at innovation centers such as Fiber Optic Valley, Triple Steelix, Find IT and Future Position X. Expected result at the end of the project: 1. Increased horizontal and vertical collaboration and communication between project partners 2. Increased and in-depth internal and external knowledge about the research conducted within HAR through the establishment of open R & D environment. 3. Increased application of HAR-developed research, methods and models that contribute to the development of innovations in the project’s collaboration partners. 4. In-depth and disseminated knowledge about research of the knowledge processes initiated regionally and how they contribute to increased awareness among companies and organisations about their own needs and increased learning. 5. Increased utilisation of digital tools at partner companies that promote innovation processes 6. Increased development of market-oriented knowledge among partner companies that contribute to increased internationalisation. 7. Increased application of sustainability reporting at partner companies that contribute to increased competitiveness by meeting critical stakeholders’ requirements. 8. Institutionalisation of the HAR platform and the collaboration initiated and developed by the project. Expected effects in the long term: The platform will in the long run be developed into a meeting place that develops people and organisations in the region and offers the region access to qualified and solid research expertise; to create sustainable markets, develop strategic networks and develop better conditions in risk management with methods and models that promote innovative sustainable business relationships and regional competitiveness. Furthermore, the project has created a research environment that attracts and recruits researchers who contribute to creating innovative environments in the area.
