The project aims to profile Halland as a food region with locally produced food and support the Halland food companies for sustainable growth. Through direct efforts in companies, Halland’s food guild will increase their business development, develop export strategies, increase diversity and gender mainstreaming in companies, and promote collaboration to increase the use and knowledge of locally produced food. The project will also provide test beds, where large companies open up their test kitchens for the benefit of small and medium-sized companies (SMF), so that they get the chance to develop new products. The activities will lead to lasting effects that in the long run increase the value added of the food produced in the county and provide growth of competitive companies in agriculture, food processing, food experiences and distribution.
